 Chilstone Etruscan Garden House

Chilstone have been producing handmade stone ornaments for 50 years and have supplied many famous clients such as Alan Titchmarsh, Uri Geller, The National Trust and Royal Palaces. They have even made classical columns for shipment to Greece!

Founded in 1953 by artist Michael Dibben, who developed a unique process to reproduce stone antique garden ornaments, it always was a family business and his wife, Gaynor, who helped him before his death in 1985, is still at the helm.

Chilstone Victoria UrnAs she says “What Michael invented has meant that some of the most beautiful and elegant ornaments from past centuries of world famous gardens are now in gardens all over the country”.

Please feel welcome to visit the company which houses its workshop and office in 75 acres of beautiful woods, including a lake, woodland walks and, of course, the show garden where temples stand resplendent, fountains play and statues stand amongst the beautiful garden ornaments.

Show gardens open to the public:

April to September – everyday including weekends

October to March – weekdays only.
