The lane was part of the old Penshurst to Chiddingstone coach road. Passing Salmans Manor and continuing on this road you will find Salmans Farm on the right up the hill. The owner’s family have lived and farmed in the area for generations, at one stage living in the Manor, which was the farmhouse.
This B & B has a tranquil setting with views of Penshurst Place and the Eden Valley
and looks down to a water mill (which was mentioned in the Domesday Book, 1085),
Salmans Manor and converted oast houses - which are peculiar to Kent. Bed and Breakfast accommodation offered is a kingsize double with en-suite and a single/double room.
